I went through all pre-sets an eliminated 70 of them. Of course, Fender does not know who buys their product.so this amp was designed for ALL musicians to achieve almost any amp, clean to heavy, grunge, fuzz,reverb an so, as one would need. It offers 100 pre-sets that can all be modified to create the sound you prefer. This Fender amp(Mustang III v2), as well as others, allow the musician to design several different set-ups or tones for the style one plays. When modeling amps came out.it was to offer the capability to "set-up" your particular sound. The guitarist adapts to a"feel" of the instrument.and all guitars are different. The same goes for the country, blues, or rock musician. Musicians into Metal will select a different instrument package. An example.Jazz players will choose smooth warm sounds with a thick body or semi-hollow guitar. Musicians should always know their style and choice of music. One small negative, there is no Fuse app for the Apple or Android tablets. If you want to go deeper, the Fender Fuse software, your computer and a USB cable, makes it even easier to edit, save and load other players creations if you want. I've replaced a Fender Twin Reverb, that I'd have to crank way too loud even with the 1/2 power mod, to sound good and I leave my pedal board at home. You can play this amp at whatever volume you need and it sounds the same. This amp takes outboard pedals very well. You can keep it simple and use one of the amp models and your own effects pedals. I've had many guitar amps throughout my career, including new and vintage tube, solid state and modeling ones, and this little amp can run with the best.ġ00 watts, lightweight & great sounding with lots of amp models, and up to 4 effects to choose from with the onboard editor. Fender hit it out of the ballpark with the Mustang III V2 amp.
